Pyramid Building Systems first incorporated in July of 1985. The objective was to develop a reputation as a Turnkey General Contracting Company which could be dependable and cost competitive in the small to medium sized projects. Initially emphasis was placed on successful completion of projects ranging from $200,000 to $2,000,000. The market was in the Commercial and Industrial segment of North Texas and the DFW Metroplex.

Since our inception, growth has been steady and controlled as numerous projects from $200,000 to $6 million have now been completed. Many Fortune 500 Companies and projects exceeding $5 million are now on the resume of Pyramid Building Systems.

For the years of 2002 thru 2004, over 70% of our projects were contracts using the Design-Build method of delivery. Using the techniques and processes of Design-Build, Pyramid personnel have demonstrated the ability to retain the Architectural and Engineering professionals and work in concert with our owner/client to design and construct their project converting the earliest conceptual ideas into a turnkey completed project.

In July of 2004, another phase in Pyramid's evolution was taken to facilitate our growth in the market and develop capabilities to execute contracts in excess of $10 million. Pyramid Building Systems was acquired by AUI Contractors, L.P. and is now the Design Build Commercial and Industrial entity of AUI. Our proficiency in Design-Build and the Construction Manager at Risk projects blends well with AUI's reputation in Site Development and Municipal Projects.
